This article will be the first in the series of articles about Windows CE 6.0. The major changes in 6.0 are 1. Process address space is increased from 32MB to 1 GB. 2. Number of processes has been increased to 32K from 32. 3. User mode and kernel mode device drivers are possible. 4. Device.exe, filesys.exe, GWES.exe has been moved to Kernel mode. 5. SetKMode and set process permissions not possible. 6. System call performance will improve. http://e-consystems.com/WindowsCE5vs6.asp Comments: Flat Nested Threaded Embedded Oldest First Newest First Author Thread: appuvivan WinCe 5.0 image for PC Posted: Tuesday, July 03, 2007 10:31 PM (PST) Hello ,          I have a doubt regarding the WinCe 5.0 image for PC ,   Iam trying to build a WinCe 5.0 Image for a intel pentium 4 processor based Target PC ,  What i find is that after executing the boot floppy i give the command loadcepc to take the image from the hard disc, but none of the storage device is detected by the boot floppy, What could be the problem ? IF i put a tiny image on floppy itself then execute loadcepc then the screen shown a memory location and it is not able to come out of it continue booting of WinCe on the PC ,     I wanted to know it there are any setting change required for booting a PC with WinCe ?     Thank you   Regards Mani
