The files needed for the demo provided by Dave Heil at MEDC 2006, session EMB207.

Dave Heil presented this demo for session EMB207. The files required for this demo may be downloaded here. The description for this session as presented in the MEDC 2006 schedule appears below:
“Developing reliable and robust wireless networks is not an easy task. It is fraught with many potential pitfalls and failing to consider even one point can result in the complete failure of a product. Windows CE comes with several tools for building reliable and secure wireless devices. This presentation will cover the role of a supplicant in device security plus an overview of the IEEE 802.1x and 802.11i standards. The Windows CE supplicant architecture is shown along with examples of adding new authentication (EAP) methods to a platform. The role of the wireless zero config service and methods for using it on a headless (non display based) are presented. Some coverage is given to the native WiFi specification and writing native WiFi drivers.”

Socrates I Lives!
The first phase of Socrates I (research robot) construction is complete. It's not pretty, but it has all the necessary features to explore high level navigation algorithms using the Microsoft Robotic Studio (http://msdn.microsoft.com/robotics/).
